Dotshot

Dotshot is a rather complicated skills game where you control a cannon in the middle of the screen. The objective in the game is to kill all the dots that come your way to attack you. You have to get the highest possible score before one of them hits you.

Controlling the cannon is a bit complicated: you have to tap in the direction you want to move it. If you tap once the cannon moves in that direction, but not to where you've tapped, which means that to aim it in the desired direction, you have to tap the screen repeatedly. If you keep your finger pressed, the cannon will just spin out of control.

The weapon will fire as soon as you lift your finger from the screen, so if a dot is coming your way, you have to make sure you don't just aim, but also let go at just the right moment to kill it. As you get points you start facing more difficult challenges, but you also find new weapons that let you work out these difficult situations, such as a laser cannon that can exterminate all the enemies on the screen.
